This Privacy Policy explains how Aura Games collects, uses, and shares information when you visit the website, play a game, submit a leaderboard score, or contact us.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

Leaderboard participation is optional. If you submit a score, we collect the display name you enter, your score, the game identifier, the selected difficulty where applicable, and the submission time. Display names are limited to 12 characters and may be visible publicly. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and security providers may automatically process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested URL, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs. This information is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors.

Device features

Some games let you copy text to your clipboard or create an image in your browser. These actions occur only when you choose them. Aura Games does not read unrelated clipboard contents.

How We Use Information

Cookies and Local Storage

Aura Games does not currently set its own advertising or analytics cookies and does not use browser local storage to build a profile about you. Infrastructure providers may use essential technologies needed to deliver and protect the site. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law.

Third-Party Services

Pages may load resources from Google Fonts, Tailwind CSS’s content delivery network, and jsDelivr. When your browser requests those resources, the provider may receive technical request information such as your IP address, browser details, and the referring page. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing of Information

We may share information with hosting, database, security, and technical service providers that process it for us; when required by law or valid legal process; to protect users, the public, or our rights; or as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the service. Public leaderboard names and scores are visible to other visitors.

Retention and Security

Leaderboard records may be retained while the relevant leaderboard operates, unless deletion is required or reasonably requested. Support messages and technical logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for their purpose. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Rights

You can play without submitting a leaderboard name. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of certain personal information. To make a request, email support@auragames.example and identify the game, display name, and approximate submission date. We may need information to verify the request.

Children’s Privacy

Aura Games is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

International Use

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such processing.
